This is THE perfect place if you are working at either base, NAS and Corry Station, as it's right in the middle of both bases and about a 10 minute drive without traffic. The beach is fairly close and there are a lot of good restaurants nearby. The place was very clean and the neighbors were all very nice. The house is very spacious and quiet during all hours of the day as well. This was definitely one of my favorite stays on Airbnb and I would absolutely recommend.

TDY, per diem & DTS
Proud to host those who serve
Pensacola is the Cradle of Naval Aviation and the home of the Blue Angels, and the people who keep it that way are our favorite guests. Whether you are reporting to IWTC Corry Station, starting a pipeline at NAS Pensacola, or house-hunting on a PCS, lodging should be the easiest part of your orders.
You take care of the mission — we will take care of the paperwork. For stays of 28 nights or more we set the nightly rate at or below the Pensacola GSA lodging per diem, so your lodging is fully reimbursable with nothing out of pocket, and the receipts arrive in the format your voucher expects. Not military? None of this applies — skip to who else stays here.
On every set of orders
- Rate at or below GSA per diem for 28+ night stays, so lodging is 100% reimbursable.
- DTS-compatible itemized receipts with the daily rate and tax broken out separately.
- Flexibility when orders change. Curtailed, extended or cancelled — we adjust dates without penalty games.
Monthly stays · shorter dates often available
Who stays at Ellie’s Cove
Most guests stay one to three months, and longer stays get the better rate. Shorter dates that fill a gap are welcome too — just ask.

What people say after they leave
This was a wonderful, private property with very spacious and clean rooms. All of the amenities were fantastic, making it truly feel like a home away from home. Both parking and the check-in process were super easy. The location is excellent and close to many restaurants, the drive to the beach is beautiful and incredibly convenient to Corry Station for anyone with a spouse or loved one on active duty. I highly recommend this place to all and especially for military families. Matteo was also very responsive and helpful throughout our stay!

FAQ
Straight answers
How far is Ellie's Cove from Corry Station and NAS Pensacola?
Ellie's Cove is about a 5-minute drive (2 miles) from Corry Station and IWTC Corry, and about a 7-minute drive (3 miles) from the NAS Pensacola main gate. The townhome sits in the Warrington neighborhood of Pensacola, roughly midway between the two installations, so a daily commute to either base is short and avoids the main highway traffic.
Is this lodging reimbursable on TDY orders through DTS?
Yes. For stays of 28 nights or longer we set the nightly rate at or below the Pensacola GSA lodging per diem, which means your lodging is fully reimbursable with no out-of-pocket cost. We provide DTS-compatible itemized receipts showing the daily rate and tax separately, plus stay confirmations and lodging documentation on request. We are familiar with CNA, Navy Housing, JTR and DTS workflows.
How long can I stay? Is there a minimum?
Most guests stay between one and three months, and the home is set up for that: for 28 nights or more the rate is at or below per diem, all utilities are included, and there is no cleaning fee. There is no rigid minimum, though. We regularly take shorter stays that fit a gap between longer reservations, so if your dates are shorter than a month it is worth asking — check the calendar on this page or send us an inquiry and we will tell you straight away whether your dates work.
What happens if my orders change or my TDY is cut short?
We work with you on dates. If your training pipeline shifts, your TDY is extended, cut short or canceled outright, contact us and we will adjust — no penalty games. Military and government travelers are the majority of our guests and we understand that orders move.
How many people does the townhome sleep?
The townhome has three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. The primary suite has a king bed with an ensuite bathroom, the second bedroom has a queen bed, and the third bedroom has a twin bed. The king and twin rooms each have a standing desk, and the king and queen rooms each have a smart TV. There is also a sofa in the living room. It comfortably suits a single service member, a couple, a small family, or two or three colleagues on the same orders who each want their own room.
Is it furnished, and are utilities and internet included?
Fully furnished and move-in ready. That includes a complete kitchen with cookware and appliances, linens and towels, an in-unit full-size washer and dryer, 1-gigabit fiber internet, and streaming-ready smart TVs in the living room and in the king and queen bedrooms (Netflix included). On monthly stays the rate is all-in: electricity, water, internet and trash are covered, with no resort fees and no utility pass-throughs.
Do you allow pets?
Dogs are considered case by case — message us with your dog's breed, size and age before booking. As an end unit, the home has a larger fenced backyard than the interior units, which past guests with dogs have appreciated. Cats are not allowed.
Is there a cleaning fee or a security deposit?
There is no cleaning fee, ever, on any booking. We simply ask that you leave the home in the condition you found it. Whether there is a security deposit depends on how you book: bookings through Hospitable or Airbnb are paid by credit card and carry no deposit at all — Hospitable includes a damage waiver, and Airbnb covers accidental damage through its AirCover program — while direct bookings are paid by ACH and take a refundable security deposit that we release after check-out. Direct bookings also involve a short-term lease signed remotely by DocuSign, plus identity verification and any supporting documents relevant to your stay.
What are the ways to book, and how do they differ?
There are three, and the practical difference is how the payments are spread. First, Hospitable: the live calendar on this page, paid by credit card and split into two payments, with a damage waiver included, no security deposit and lower fees than Airbnb. Because it only splits the total in two, it suits a stay of about a month and gets unwieldy beyond that. Second, Airbnb: the same home listed there, paid by credit card and billed monthly, again with no security deposit — Airbnb covers accidental damage through its own AirCover program. That monthly billing makes it the simplest way to pay for a multi-month stay on a card, though it is the highest total cost because Airbnb adds more fees on top. Third, direct: invoiced by us and paid by ACH bank transfer on a monthly schedule, with a refundable security deposit instead, released after check-out. Direct booking is available for monthly rentals only — one month or longer — and it involves a little more paperwork: a short-term lease signed remotely by DocuSign, identity verification, and any supporting documents relevant to your stay, such as a copy of your orders or proof of assignment. It usually takes a few minutes. It carries no platform fees at all, so it is the lowest total, and it is what most longer stays end up using. Airbnb being the most expensive does not make it the wrong choice. If you are earning a credit card promotion, prefer to pay by card rather than bank transfer, or simply want to keep your trips on one platform, that can easily be worth more to you than the fee difference.
How are payments split, and can I pay monthly?
It depends which way you book. Hospitable splits the total into two payments on a credit card, which works for a stay of around a month. Airbnb bills your credit card monthly, so it is the option to choose if you want a multi-month stay spread across monthly card payments. Direct bookings are invoiced by us and paid by ACH bank transfer on a monthly schedule. Direct is available for monthly rentals only, and involves a short-term lease signed remotely by DocuSign, identity verification, and any supporting documents relevant to your stay.
Is my payment protected, and is there a security deposit?
It depends how you book. Bookings through Hospitable and through Airbnb are paid by credit card and need no security deposit: Hospitable includes a damage waiver, and Airbnb covers accidental damage through AirCover, its own protection program. Direct bookings are paid by ACH bank transfer and take a refundable security deposit instead; we release it after check-out once the home has been checked over.
Who else stays here besides military travelers?
Families house-hunting during a PCS, travel nurses and other medical contractors on 13-week assignments, engineers and contractors supporting the bases, remote workers who want a real desk and fast internet, and people between homes during a relocation or renovation. The setup — furnished, monthly, all-in pricing, a workspace and a yard — suits any longer stay.
